We provide a two-course meal, which is cooked at the Bakewell Methodist Junior School by Derbyshire Catering. Lunch for all children served in our school hall. Provision is made for those children who wish to bring a packed lunch. All we ask is that the contents of the packed lunch complies with our healthy school policy.

The menus changes after Easter to the Spring /Summer menu, and after the Autumn Half-term to the Autumn/Winter Menu.

Special Dietary Requirements

Children who require special diets to meet a medical need, e.g. allergies, coeliac disease, can be catered for, but this must be requested before any provision can be made.  In some cases this may necessitate a meal being prepared specially for an individual child to meet their needs.

Applications for medicals diet are made using the medical diet portal online on the Derbyshire Catering website.  If you require assistance with this, please speak to the School Office who will be happy to help.
