The Bakewell Parish Church and Bakewell Church of England Infant School Partnership

The vision we have is to work together as partners in the spiritual formation and education of children and the support of their families/carers.

Bakewell Parish Church is not a structure or a building, but rather the family of God, welcoming and inclusive to all, seeking to help people of all ages to understand and develop a relationship with a living God who we believe renews, transforms and heals our lives. We value our long association with Bakewell Infant School and seek to support the aims and objectives of our wonderful school to foster the spiritual formation and education of the children of our school within the parish community.

We welcome the varied and increasing opportunities to visit, resource, share in the life of and support school within the Curriculum, as foundation Governors of the Governing Body, leading and supporting Collective Worship, coming into school for termly events, learning walks and offering pastoral support where requested.

We also look forward to welcoming school to church for School Services and visits as part of the children's curriculum and to work and support one another collaboratively.

We rejoice that the links between church and school are strong with the vision for them to grow.
