We aim to inspire a love of learning about the past, alongside teaching skills and knowledge, to enable our children to become confident historians.

We aim to inspire our pupils to enrich their knowledge and understanding about Britain’s past, and that of the wider world, providing them with a unique set of skills to understand and change the world. 

We also aim for our high quality history curriculum to encourage our pupils to think and act as historians: giving them the skills to discover information about the past with curiosity.
